The New York Times featured Palermo’s main tourist attractions and included Doba_Restaurant and Terrace among the places not to be missed.

Around the same time, Doba was featured on the homepages of Archilovers and Archello. Architect Niuta Garretto, who led the project, says: “These are important acknowledgements that show how even a small project, when thoughtfully designed, can contribute to the city’s image. At Doba, we wanted to create a dialogue with the monumental landmarks of Teatro Massimo and the historic centre, both visible from the restaurant’s windows. To do so, we chose a colour palette that brings out Palermo’s uniquely beautiful light. Doba is also the result of an ongoing dialogue with local artisans, whose work we always strive to showcase in our projects. We liked to imagine Doba as a small fragment of the great mosaic that is Palermo.”
